This was done on an AAC device called a Liberator.  It had a very small built-in printer that used small rolls of thermal paper.   I personally loved it because I could do art with it.  This is a apicture of Jesus, but you have to view it from a distance to see the picture.

 

You could fame it and use it as a wall hanging.  But I always sold it as a bookmark.  You can fit 3 of these on one sheet of paper, then you print them off on any color paper you want, then just cut them apart.
