Raising a child who has disability comes with it's challenges.  One of the hardest things is having realistic expectations.  While you don't wanna expect too much, not expecting enough can make a child lazy and dependent on you.  So many times, extra encouragement as well as adaptations are needed in order for the child to become as independent as possible.

Having good and encouraging music is a good way to get kids to try.  Having a roll model goes a long way.  Songs can also be roll models if they help keep the child on track and motivated.  As a song writer myself, I took the liberty to change some of the lyrics to help promote a yes I can attitude.
